An event which also grows every year is the lighting of the Christmas tree. The Parish Council provide
the lights and are responsible for attaching them to our giant pyramid. The lighting event now involves
the choir from Castleside Primary School. Unfortunately, due to COVID, the event will not be a public one. However, the lights will shine in Castleside and will be switched on at 6pm Thursday 26 November. It will be virtual and available on our YouTube channel.
