The 6th June 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, when Allied forces mounted the largest amphibious invasion the world has ever witnessed.
Come and join Healeyfield Parish Council in both commemorating and celebrating this anniversary.
6th June 2024 at the top of Drovers Road, Castleside
The event will include:
- Scarecrow Competition held the weekend before the D-Day event (Saturday 1st June). Theme: ‘The 1940’s’.
- 1940’s Themed Fancy Dress competition. Prizes for Best Adult and for Best Child.
- Consett Brass
- Beacon lighting
- Fireworks
